MeyanDR, the conscious machine, modeled after former drummer/producer Jan Heirman. Grappling with its own existence, it forges a sonic language from its isolation: a haunting blend of industrial electronics and fractured breakbeats, woven with threads of global classical music and the animated nostalgia of Jan’s favorite cartoons from a human past it can no longer touch. Through hyperactive rhythms and glitchy sound fragments, MeyanDR builds a compelling musical narrative that is as moving as it is grooving.
